If you are stuck with a black screen and you tried troubleshooting as much as possible. This is due to the fact the ROM is not supported by the stock emulator. Please refer to the compatibility list. Sometimes the console may just freeze when using USB.
One cool character addiction was the return of Mew Two and Roy who were in Melee but cut from the Brawl roster. As well as bringing back Mew Two and Roy. One of the most fun additions to the gameplay was All-Star Versus Mode. In this mode, you need to pick a new character for each life you have.
It adds a whole new dimension to the gameplay and makes you think before you act. They did have some more new content such as levels, game modes and best of all characters like Knuckles from the Sonic series. Project M was so well made that this was the game that was often used at fighting game tournaments over the default Smash Bros Brawl. I mean music hacks don't really mean much since everyone turns off music anyway. So the only real advantage here is the stage select. I am currently working on modifying the stages so that the backgrounds cause less lag and increase the FPS Stages such as smashville and draculas could be less laggy as of right now I'm just deleting the backgrounds and soon I'll add less laggy backgrounds.

Because the music was chosen by the community, there's more of a chance of people liking the music. I really like this build. I don't know how you could change it so there's more of a chance for other songs to be played without creating a save file which you can't for obvious reasons. I'm also iffy on the swords glowing. If they don't lag at all, then I don't mind. But having a small pleasant visual thing that increases lag kinda goes against the reason why you tried to make the laggy stages "lagless.
